Horn does not sound: As an important component connecting the steering wheel and the horn, the clock spring may cause the horn to not work properly once it fails, and no sound is emitted when the horn button is pressed.
The airbag fault light is on: The clock spring is also responsible for connecting the airbag system. If the clock spring is damaged, it may cause the circuit connection of the airbag system to be unstable, thereby triggering the fault light to light up.
Multi-function steering wheel button failure: Many modern cars are equipped with multi-function buttons on the steering wheel for controlling functions such as audio and cruise. Damage to the clock spring may affect the normal operation of these buttons, causing the buttons to fail to respond or function abnormally.
Steering wheel rotation abnormality: In rare cases, damage to the clock spring may cause the steering wheel to feel abnormal when turning, such as not turning smoothly or having a stuck feeling.
